“Ticked Off: Those Pesky Pre-1850 Census Tic Marks” will by
the topic of a class by world-renowned speaker Peggy Clemens Lauritzen, who
luckily lives just up the road from the Ohio Genealogical Society library. The
date is Saturday, June 25th and the time 1:00 PM. We are thinking
that these “tic marks” have something to do with the fact that household
members are not named in early US census records, but you’ll have to attend to
find out. This is a free lecture although an RSVP to 419-886-1903 leaving your
name is requested.
